New hair cut and Swimming session

Last Saturday, we brought little nic for hair cut and swimming at Hua Xia (Harbourfront).

(There's one pic that we brought him to botanic garden, I can't remember when did we go, but i think it was one or two weeks ago)

Yes Nic is going to shave all his hair... heehee!!!

Mummy and Baby are sick

Last Wednesday (11 Feb), I was terribly sick due to coughing, body-ache and headache, was on MC for two days.

I feel so bad that I have passed on to little nic. But he managed to get better after few days.
I better look after myself and must not eat junk food. YES!!!! I need to go on diet!

I need to lost at least another 5 kgs... I feel so unhealthy and fat~~~~

Exercise..... and Balance Diet!!

Horray!! 6 mths...

From little baby to become little devil. . . this little cheesecake of mine is getting so naughty and nosier each day. . . Shouting for milk, very ganchoeng. . . Yelling in the public, want to catch full attention from people. . . Yeah! He wants to be center of attraction. . .

• more and more active in the day time

The 6 in 1 jab in polyclinic

On 2nd Feb, Monday, we brought nic for his 3rd - 6 in 1 jab. The earliest appointment for him before we went to work. It was at 8.20am. As usual, he was making alot of noises and giggling away. Around 8.30am, nic wanted to slp and was getting more and more impatient. We tried all meant to make him calm down and relax. His growth measurement is good. His height is abt 71cm and weight abt 8kgs. Well, I don't think he is heavy, cos he is very tall as mentioned by the doctor and nurses before.

This time round, my mum used her new trick to distract him so that he will not cry when the nurse jab him. And It worked. She said: " A for Apple. A-P-P-L-E, B for Ball. B-A-L-L, C for Cat ...." Baby Nic was concentrating listening to my mum. It was fast and jab was finished. He did not cry or make noise.

Well done, my little darling. So for the next appointment, we will wait until 3 months later for the 9 mths assessment.

The 7th day of cny - "Ren Le"

Yesterday was the 7th day 人乐 of CNY. Baby Nic woke up late around 9am. We are told to go to my granny's hse for "Liucha" 雷茶。 We had more than seven kinds of vegetables. Anyone eat before?? I love it so much since young till today. Heehee... Hope that Baby Nic will loves it too. Yum yum... After the lunch, we proceeded to the temple near Boon Lay Shopping Centre - 大伯公庙。My parents and Hubby will be going there for pray pray. After then, we went back to my parents' hse because Baby Nic was very slpy.

During the evening, we had our big feast again - Streamboat at my mother-in-law 's house. Yummy yummy. Basically, we have been eating non stop since chinese new year's eve till today. I guess we have to eat all the way till the 15th. My goodness~~ How am I going to lose my weight if we keep eating like this. *Faint*

My house has alot of chinese goodies - I have to make sure that my hubby finish eveything so that I will not eat too much... Me Cunning, right?... Better don't let him read this. Wahaha...

GONG XI FA CAI - Happy "OX" Year!!

I wish everyone A Happy New "OX" Year!!

Today is 5th day of CNY, "Friday again" and we will be bringing nic back home after our work!

Another 11 days, Nic will be 6 mths... he will be on solid food. I am planning to give him brown rice and pumpkin... Hope he will like it.

Well, Speaking about television, nowadays nic likes to watch tv. I strongly discourage him from watching. Because he is too young for television. This is bad for his brain development and eye-sight. Studies have proven that baby should not watch tv more than 2 hours a day or must not watch at all. We should limit them from watching tv. This is because when they grow older, they will tend to be slow in picking up their language and expressing themselves. Baby should listen to music and play with toys which are able to build their brain development. We, parents should be careful of what we do and talk cos Baby learns every single bits from us, adult... heehee... :)

I think baby nic is teething, cos he keeps biting his bottle and finger... Errmmm....

Can he be teething at this stage???

Time flies.... I still remember ~~~

I shall begin with how does baby nic come about.

Actually, I nv tot that I will be pregnant this time round because I was on my biz trip and it was a busy month for me. Oh gosh, I even had alot of cheese, pasta, seafood and alot of espresso in Italy. I still remembered I was not really feeling well and had a few vomits. I even carried my heavy backpack and bulky luggage all by myself. Luckily, nothing happen...

It was back to 12 Dec 2007. I missed my menses and felt that something is not right.
Therefore, I tested the pregnancy kit early in the morning. I started to see positive so I waked my hubby... Errr... he was still in bed... he walked to the toilet and rubbed his eyes. Then he shouted : " Yeah, Finally!!" LOL... Yes, we have tried a few times and finally I was pregnant. He was so happy and said that we will go to GP to double confirm again. :)

On that day after our work, we went to the GP to take the pregnancy test again. However, the doctor said that I was not pregnant. #@!$%$ That was impossible. We were so .... Anyway, we think that the pregnancy kit at the GP must have expired. So we waited for a few days later and went to the gynae for a scan and test again.

After the scan and check up, I was confirmed 5 weeks pregnant. Somehow, we have the feeling that the baby is a boy from the beginning and we are right. :) Not to mention, we only got to confirm the gender of the baby when I was in 25 weeks pregnant.

I don't think I will continue the story about my pregnancy. It will be pretty long story. Maybe I will scan all the 3D/4D pics and show everyone about the growth of the baby soon.. Heehee when I am free.
